Shipping Policy

Thank you for visiting and shopping at ShopYamaha. Following are the Terms and Conditions that constitute our Shipping Policy.

This policy is to be read in conjunction with our ShopYamaha website Terms and Conditions of Use and our Terms and Conditions of Purchase.


We will endeavour to dispatch all orders as soon as possible, with our orders processed within two to three business days (orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or public holidays). ShopYamaha warehousing processes run from Monday - Friday every week, unless notified on ShopYamaha of closure, but not on weekends or public holidays. All orders placed before midday, Monday - Friday are generally dispatched on the same day.

If we are experiencing a high volume of orders due to sales or peak trading period, deliveries may be delayed by a few days – so please keep this in mind if you are purchasing allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.

This does not include orders placed during a sale or peak trading period as we may experience delays in processing orders – please keep this in mind if you are purchasing an item for a special occasion.

Certain products like oils, fluids and gas charged shock absorbers are unable to travel by air and will be shipped via road. In this case please allow extra time for your order to arrive.

There may be instances when items purchased are sold out/unavailable on the same day of purchase. If a product is unavailable, please contact your nearest preferred Yamaha dealer for more information on availability. Orders are subject to availability and Yamaha Motor Australia Pty Ltd reserves the right to cancel any order, for any reason, including due to unavailability.

Although express services are fast, unfortunately we can’t guarantee timings as it depends on the destination. Occasionally, carriers experience delays and as much as we don’t like it, they are out of our control.  We do not accept any liability and you agree to release us from all liability arising out of any delay in shipping and delivering an order.


We are offer our customers nation-wide, FREE SHIPPING* on all accessory** orders over $200. We use a range of carefully selected freight companies across Australia. Your item/s will be sent via the freight company we deem to be most efficient. 

Power Product units are charged at a flat rate shipping fee, per unit. The flat rate is dependent on the size of the unit and is applied to the cart at the same time the unit is added to the cart. 

The shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

*Free shipping is only available to customers who have spent over $200.00 in one transaction. Customers must reside in Australia to be eligible. **Only valid for accessory items, Power Product units are exempt from FREE SHIPPING.

Please ensure that your PayPal account and ShopYamaha My Account address details are the same and are correct at the time of checkout, as we have to pay to have the parcel returned to us when you have supplied the incorrect information and we will charge you the shipping costs to re-post. Please also note that ShopYamaha does not ship to PO Box addresses within Australia, nor do we ship anywhere outside of Australia. 

You can track any dispatched consignments once you have received your shipment confirmation email. This email will contain your tracking number, which will be active within 24 hours. 

ShopYamaha will make every effort to ensure your purchase is delivered within five to 10 working days to the address specified during the purchase process. For WA, Far North QLD, NT, and remote country areas please allow an extra two to three days for delivery. 

These delivery times relate only to business days, Monday to Friday, and exclude weekends and Australian public holidays. Orders placed on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays will be shipped within the next two business days.

During sale periods we will do everything we can to dispatch your order, however orders may be delayed due to very high volume of orders. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience.

Whilst we make every effort to deliver by the estimated timeframe, all dates specified are estimates only. We have aligned ourselves with transport partners who we believe will always do their best to deliver products by the estimated delivery date. We can’t be held liable for loss or damage resulting from late delivery, but we will do our best to help you in these circumstances.

Upon successful completion of your order, you will receive a confirmation email containing details to track your order. All orders require a signature upon delivery. If you are not at the delivery address to sign for your order, the freight company will leave a notice for collection card with details on how you can collect your delivery. 

To ensure secure and undamaged delivery of your order, the freight company will not be able to leave your order 'hidden' at the address. We will take all reasonable care to deliver to the address given. However, we will not be liable for non-delivery or wrong delivery because of incorrect data entry.

ShopYamaha has recently taken the initiative to submit all necessary paperwork with regards to the transportation of dangerous goods.

Items considered as 'Dangerous Goods' will consist of lubricants, oils, some cleaning agents and aerosols.

Depending on the size of the order, we may split the 'Dangerous Goods' items of the original and send them separately. This process does not slow the order handling time frame at ShopYamaha, however in some cases, the shipping carrier may take a little longer to deliver your order to you.

All orders can still be tracked using the shipping information which is emailed to you when your order is dispatched. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns or exchanges of Dangerous Goods items as all necessary paperwork does not cover return freight unless the delivery is subject to Australian consumer laws. ShopYamaha is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim. Please save all packaging materials, document the issue via photographs and retain the damaged goods before filing a claim.
Should you wish to return an order, please see our Returns Policy for more information. You will need to download and complete the Returns Form and send it with your parcel. Please be advised that our online warehouse is not open to the public and parcels cannot be dropped off in person.
